This booklet recounts the real life stories of a cross section of ESOL students from the Salisbury, Trowbridge and Chippenham Campuses. The students tell in their own words why and how they came to leave their home countries and make the often long and dangerous journey to the UK and Wiltshire in particular. We hope that by telling their own stories, in their own words our students writing will raise awareness of the issues faced by migrants from different countries around the world who have come to settle here in Wiltshire. All the profits form the sale of this booklet will be donated to three refugee supporting charities - The Refugee Council, Refugee Community Kitchen and The British Red Cross
